LAD 24

The Act prohibits one person from being the director of two corporations. The Clayton Anti-Trust Act has important revisions that the Sherman Anti-Trust Act lacked. The Act prohibits price discrimination if it lessens competition. It also prohibits exclusive dealings and "tying," more practices that hurt competition. In addition, mergers and acquisitions that threatened competition were prohibited as well.the Act states that any violations of the laws it establishes may result in a court case.Furthermore there is an important clause in section 17, which states that the anti-trust laws articulated in the Act are not applicable to labor organizations.
