LAD 16
The emancipation proclamation was pretty simple. He freed the Slaves in the rebelling states. This is contradictory, because he had no power over these states. More interstingly he did say that said slaves would be able to go to any person or place of the military and be received as a free man. That is pretty much it.

Lincoln's second inaugural address focuses more on the moral problems with slavery than he ever has before. He also almost appeals to the people as the ware being backward, with both sides incurring the wrath of the same god on the other. Lincoln saw this as wrong, but not as wrong as the South was for being instigators of the war, and being the reason for it. He was them as a wound, and a large wound that needed to be cleaned and bond back onto the Union. It was particularly apparent that he wanted to end the war, but add another moral facet to it.

LAD # 9
The opening of the document was pretty self explanatory that is named the Declaration of Sentiments after the Declaration of Independence. it is worded the same with minor changes, such as "men and women." it is otherwise the same document, that tells of the women's plight under man instead of mans plight under Great Britain. The list of grievances is varied, but stays mostly to the fact of chastisement under man, giving up salary to man, giving up possession to man, giving up children to man, that they may not be punished under law, if husband is there. they can not be educated and finaly that there are different set of morals given to women than man. The second par to f the document was a list of resolutions that women have made about themselfs concerning man. These resolutions include equality, right to property, divorce, children, and salary.
